The   national   flag of Angola  was adopted on November 11, 1975. It came into use at when   Angola   gained independence from Portuguese colonial rule. The flag of Angola is based on the flag of the   Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola   (MPLA), which fought Portuguese colonial rule and emerged as the ruling party of Angola following the   Angolan Civil War . It is one of the twelve national flags containing weapon in it. The Angolan flag is a rectangular flag of proportion 2:3. It is divided horizontally into two halves -the top half being red and the bottom half being black. A yellow emblem is in the center. The emblem consists of a five pointed-star within a half gear wheel crossed by a machete.   As outlined in the   Constitution of Angola , the red half of the flag signifies bloodshed during Angola's independence struggle, and the black half symbolizes the continent of Africa, Yellow is symbolic of the country...

The  current national flag   of the   Principality of Andorra   is said to be adopted in 1973. The flag is a vertical   tricolor   of blue (left side), yellow (center), and red (right side) colors. The   coat of arms of Andorra  is in the center. The three vertical is not of equal width, the center yellow bar is slightly wider than the other two so that the ratio of bar widths is 8:9:8. The overall flag ratio is 7:10. The Coat of Arms of Andorra contains the heraldic device consisting of a shield divided into four equal parts by the arms of the Bishop of Urgell and the Count of Foix (historically been the two co-princes of Andorra) and the emblems of Catalonia and the Viscount of Béarn. The  current national   flag   of Algeria   was adopted on 3 July 1962. The flag is rectangular in shape which is divided into two equal vertical bars, green and white,   charged   in the center with a red   star and crescent. A similar version was used by the Algerian government in exile from 1958–1962. According to algeria-un.org, cited in 1999, the features of the flag are set down precisely, being described as: The green must be a composition of equal yellow and blue having, according to the diagram of contrasts of Rood, a wavelength of 5.411 and the position 600 on the normal specter. The current flag of Albania  was adopted on 7 April 1992 after the communist government in Albania collapsed. It is a red  flag  with a  silhouetted  black  double-headed eagle  in the center.
